E-Lab - 2015-16  

The participants were given exactly 2 minutes to pitch in their business ideas which were then followed by the Q&A round Alumni judges, faculty members and students. Intention was to know whether their ideas were feasible in reality with limited resources available to them.

The event was followed by addressing the crowd about the activities going to be conducted during E-Week 2016. They were given complete details about the events and their registration process.

Entrepreneurship Talk
Mr. Mithun Nair talked about the strategies and marketing skills one must put into consideration while being an Entrepreneur. He also talked about his journey and how he faced competition in the market and how he overcame his failures in his entrepreneurial journey.

    E-Gems
    The event was about sharing the experience of alumni who is now a successful Entrepreneur.
    He addressed the crowd about his interest and how he converted his interest into his passion and gradually into his bread & butter. He is at present into event management and has recently lead the organization of events such as AIB ROAST, RED BULL TOUR BUS, AIB DIWAS, etc.
    He also talked about the strategies and marketing skills one must follow to become an Entrepreneur. Later he interacted with the crowd and helped them solve their queries. Mr. Rahul Jha is not only an Entrepreneur but also a motivator who motivated the students to follow their dreams and asked them to do things which they are interested in rather than just following the crowd. According to him Job Satisfaction should be an important factor for every individual as compared to money or position.

    E-Leaders demonstrating the Entrepreneurial Activity Devil’s Darkroom
    The teams of 5 students were asked to find items kept at various places in the room. Two people were blind folded, two were there to guide the direction and the person sitting in the middle was supposed to arrange the items collected and end the game. The blind folded students had to use their hearing capabilities and follow the path guided by their other partners. This game tested the team work, coordination of the students and how they can work together which is a must in entrepreneurship.

    E-School Activity
    The main concept of this event was to visit the underprivileged schools in the vicinity and interact with the students. EDC team visited school and helped the students to know more about Entrepreneurship. All the volunteers interacted with the students and played games like 50 ka funda, talent hunt, academic based general knowledge round, vedic math and many others. These games not only entertained them but also boosted their knowledge mentally and physically. They were also taught about social activities like keeping the surroundings clean and were asked to be ambitious in life.

    Miracle workers an entrepreneurial activity
    The main concept of this event was "BEG, BORROW & STEAL. The team of 2 was required for the participation. The game began with the riddle given to each team which they were supposed to crack and get the next riddle. The final stage of the game was to plant the seeds in the mentioned location and the team which completed first was declared as the winner. This game tested the team work, coordination of the students and how they can work together which is a must in entrepreneurship.

    TIMSR launches its hottest new Incubators: “HUNGER ON THE GO “, a one stop solution for lip smacking eateries & admired by all young food lovers, that serves from canapés to ice cream shakes opened by Ayush Doshi, Varsha Goenka, Sanjana Naik & Chintan Bhayani, “PEBBLES” increasing your appetite with desi joint serving a variety of paranthas & beverages run by Civek Singh & Udit Vora. Another group of budding entrepreneurs have started with “KRAFT – TEE “ with an idea of selling customized Tee-shirts at their newly launched store at V- Mall, Thakur Complex, Kandivali East by Adnan Khan & Anurag Mishra.
