TIMSR has organized a seminar on the topic “Careers in Enterprise Risk Management” on 7th September 2022 for the students of MMS semester – II. (Batch 2021-2023) The guest speaker for the session was Ms. Kosha Parekh - Head of Academics & Operations, IRM India.
During the seminar, the speaker discussed the significance of Enterprise Risk Management, the factors affecting an enterprise and its effect on any department of an organization, as a whole. A Case Study workshop was also conducted and the students were asked to form department-wise teams and to provide their suggestions on how to manage the risk involved in a given scenario. Overall, it was an interactive and brainstorming session where the students learned the importance of risk management and departmental communication while making a decision within the organization. The experiential learning during the workshop helped the students to understand risk management in a real-world scenario.
