A one-day Management Development Program on “Managing Projects at Workplace” was organized on 03rd March 2017. The programme was designed to meet the needs of professionals handling projects at their workplace. It provided insights on project management and its linkages to managing resources. The resource person for the MDP was Prof. Suhas M. Prabhu, Assistant Professor, TIMSR. The engagement brought to light the challenges faced by the participants in their current job roles with regards to the projects handled and managing resources within the organization. The programme enabled the participants to understand the importance of project management. It gave additional insights in designing efficiency and responsiveness through technical analysis and exposure to CPM/PERT frameworks.
