The institute organized a one-day Management Development Program on "How to Influence & Lead People without Authority" in association with Dale Carnegie on January, 21st 2017. The MDP was specially designed to meet the needs of aspiring and existing managers.
The resource person was Mr Kartik Shah who explained how to use Dale Carnegie's human relations principles to:
Build trust in the workplace
Create a collaborative work environment
Get buy-in because employees support directions they help create
Mr. Shah emphasized on different skills that are required in today's business environment where teamwork has replaced the old command and control structure. He also demonstrated different techniques on how to use one’s credibility and positive image to influence people and create alignment to achieve the desired results.
