Orientation Programme-MMS Sem III Students 

A three-day orientation program was organized for MMS Sem III students from July 16, 2020 to July 18, 2020. The first day started with ZOOM training for the students where they were given a live training for using the platform for online sessions. Students were also introduced to a new initiative under the TIMSR Best Practices, that is, the ‘HTTC’ (Hourly Thought Traffic Control) where observing a one-minute silence is practiced post every session by the teachers and the students.

On 17th July 2020, a session was organised to make the students aware of the online code of conduct. Moreover, on the same day, a review session of SIP training of MMS Sem III students was conducted by the respective domain heads to understand the key learning outcomes for their internships. The day concluded with an introductory session on semester III subjects by the respective domain heads.

On July 18, 2020, the placement orientation was scheduled where students were made aware of the critical aspects pertaining to the placement preparedness. This was followed by an alumni session which was a great platform for interacting with the alumni and taking their views about the industry. Finally, a training program on Google Classroom was conducted for the students. The concluding remarks for the Orientation Program was given by Dr. Pankaj Natu, Director, TIMSR.
