The institute conducted three-day Induction program for newly admitted MMS students from 1st August 2017 to 3rd August 2017. The Induction program started with the Inauguration speech by Director, Dr Ramakumar Ambatipudi. He congratulated the students for selecting MMS Programme of TIMSR. He shared the vision and mission of the Institute with the students. The chief guest for inaugural day was Mr Sunil Nair, HR Director-SS&C Globeop Financial Services. He spoke about different skill set required to be possessed by Management Graduates to become successful in their careers.
Students were introduced to institutional facilities, Learning Resource Center (Library), Placement Cell, ISO Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), TIMSR center for Creativity & Innovation (TCCI), Social Responsibility Cell (SRC), and Student Development Center (SDC) and co-curricular & extra-curricular activities of the institute.
During three days various interactive sessions like Entrepreneurship talks, Expert Talks from Alumni, Self Management Session, and interaction with Industry Partners were organized. Awareness was created about the future prospects available to MMS students. On the concluding day, self management session was conducted for parents in a bid to involve them in the process of their child’s development.
