TIMSR has organized a Finance Conclave on the topic 'Changing Paradigm of Emerging Financial Markets' on August 28, 2021, from 9.00 am in SSC, TIMSR. The Chief Guest of the session was Mr. Guillermo Devoto, Consul General, Argentina and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Jitendra Shah, Partner, Deloitte. The Inaugural address was delivered by Mr. Devoto who highlighted the significance of India-Argentina relations and how the two economies have evolved over the years. Further, Mr. Jitendra Shah threw light upon the current trends in the financial markets in India and globally and the prominent factors which would lead to the development of Indian Markets.
The Conclave was further continued with a panel discussion. The eminent panelists for the event were Mr. Neeraj Basur, Chief Financial Officer, Blue Star Ltd, Dr. Nitin Tike Sr. Vice President, National Institute of Securities Market and Dr. Aditya Srinivas CEO & Chief Economist, Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers Forum. The panel discussion brought to light the prominent factors which will lead to the growth of the Indian financial markets and the risk management strategies to be adopted for dealing with any uncertainty. The panelists also highlighted the impact of pandemic on global markets and how Indian markets are recovering. Further, the role of technology and impact investments in shaping the financial markets was emphasized by the panelists. The session was concluded by the moderator Dr. Charu Upadhyaya, Asst. Professor TIMSR.
