TIMSR organized a Group Discussion session for the students of MMS Semester I (Batch 2022-24) on 7th January 2023. The aim of the group discussion session was to enhance the communication skills, leadership quality and thinking capacity of the students. Faculty members started the session with a brief explanation of importance, need, and Do’s & Don’ts of group discussion in the hiring process. Further, the students were divided into a group of 7 candidates and each group was given a different topic such as “moonlighting”, “Demonetization”, “Humanity”, etc. for Group discussion. After the discussion each student was mentored one to one by faculty members based on their performance. As a whole, Student participants gained confidence through the session, developed their communication skills, and worked on faculty feedback given to them.
