TIMSR organized a National Seminar on ‘Financial Strategies and Practices for Business Value Creation’ in association with Bombay Management Association on 18 January 2014. The seminar saw a congregation of industry experts, faculty members and students. The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Director, Dr. Kulkarni. Mr. Vipul Chandra, Head Treasury, Corporate Finance, L&T Ltd. presided over as the Keynote speaker and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Management Consultant and Prof (Finance), NMIMS was the Guest of Honour. Also present at the event were Mr. Ravindra Kamath, Member of the Seminar Advisory Board, office bearers of BMA and Mr. Bhaskar Joshi, Ex-president, BMA. The distinguished panelists discussed various strategies for value creation which included macro as well micro aspects of business. The second half of the day saw paper presentations from industry veterans, academicians and students. Mr. Ramakrishnan, Vice Chairman, Jt. MD and Group CEO, Polycab Group delivered the valedictory address.
