At TIMSR, we offer opportunities for summer internships and final placements to our students through our dedicated Placement department. The department has a robust placement policy and a mature process adhering to ISO 21001 which drives a governed, guided and personalized placement experience for the students. We have a Student Placement Committee that enables the collaboration between the recruiters, students and the placement department.

We have had placements and internship opportunities for our students from industries such as BFSI, Real Estate, FMCG, IT/ITeS, Consulting, and Manufacturing. In times where job roles are being transformed by technology, there is greater emphasis on digital skills, creativity, persuasion, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. We are exploring partnerships with new age industries such as – FinTech, Cybersecurity, Analytics, EV, Green Energy and Sustainability.

Ltd. – International Association for Six Sigma, Indo China Chamber of Commerce – Collaboration for Foreign Language Training,  RiskPro – Post Graduate Program in Risk Management; SSNC Globeop – Alternative Investment Certifications; Dale Carnegie – Management and Leadership Training; NISM – Platform for NISM Examination; Retail Association of India (RAI) – Certification Program in Retail Management; Spring Innovation – Innovation and Creativity in Business; CASI Global NY – Global Student Associate Certification Program; Middle Earth HR – Certified Talent Management Analyst ; Middle Earth HR – Certified Compensation & Benefits Managers ; Middle Earth HR – Certified Learning & Development Workshop . For holistic development of students, the Institute provides pre-placement training on Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills, Resume Writing and effective Group Discussions and Personal Interviews along with Counseling Facility.

Foreign language training program on various international languages like Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin and German is being conducted in association with India China Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The Institute believes in the ideology of ‘shared leadership’ which is why students play an active role not only in identifying the training need but also sourcing leads for summer and executive placements. A robust Student Placement Committee is at the helm of affairs that works round the year to connect with the organizations and bring them on campus.

Pre Placement Coaching:

Pre-placement Coaching is provided to the students right from the beginning of the program. These training sessions are carefully designed and inbuilt in the time table to ensure success at the time of selection process.

CAA – Current Affair (News Paper) Analysis

  1. Newspaper reading session has been incorporated in the timetable to improve current affair knowledge.
  2. Different newspaper like Economic Times, Business Standard, Business Line etc are considered for this activity.

CAP- Career Action Plan

  1. Provide information on domain specific career opportunities so that students can map their knowledge, skill set & attitude as per the requirements.
  2. Guide students on different external certification program like NISM, CFA, digital marketing etc to enhance the domain specific skill set.

PPC- Pre Placement Concept Coaching

  1. Develop domain / industry specific conceptual insights from placement perspective.
  2. Prepare students to clear Aptitude, Group Discussion, Technical as well as HR interviews.

Boot Camp (Simulated Selection Process)

  1. Faculty members, Industry experts and Alumni conducts regular mock simulation process to evaluate and provide feedbacks to students.
  2. Domain / Industry specific selection process are conducted which comprises of Aptitude test, Group Discussion, Case Study Analysis and Technical as well as Stress Interviews.

Mentoring

Institute has proactive and well-established mentoring system to guide and support the students in their overall development. It allows students to soundboard their ideas and openly share thoughts.

Summer Internship Program helps to provide an opportunity to apply theoretical understanding to the real life business challenges. Every first year student at the end of Semester II needs to undergo this internship program. The internships are generally defined for a period of 8 weeks during the months of May and June. The summer placement process is held to facilitate these internships for the students.
The objectives of Summer Internship include:

  • To provide opportunities to apply the concepts learnt in the class-room to real-life situations
  • To help students to understand different aspects of work place by assigning time-bound projects in an organization
  • To provide a platform to network which will be useful to further their career prospects
