Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) celebrated their management festival, Evoke 2020 on the 16th and 17th of January, 2020. This fun filled festival was themed Urja, based on the five elements in nature through which we can draw energy. Energy has its own meanings in different perspectives. In different perspectives, the form of energy changes but it basically means that it is the source to get outcome for anything to life or in motion, which was the lesson given through this theme – Urja!
The festival was launched with great enthusiasm by Mr. Harry Anand, renowned song lyricist, Mr. Arpit Ranka, famous actor and Mr. Nikhil Pitaley, actor. The event gathered a footfall of around 2500 students from various colleges across the city to partake in the fun and frolic.
There were around 15 processes covering the entire gamut of management streams to engage the participants in buoyant learning. The event was a great success with around 58 colleges participating in various capacities.
