Business Talk
TIMSR organized a Business talk on the documentary titled “Amazon Empire: The Rise and Reign of Jeff Bezos” for the students of MMS, Sem-I (Batch 2022-24) on 11th February, 2023. During the event, the documentary was shown to the students and they were asked to share the management learning from the same. At the end of the session, there was a discussion on the documentary where students discussed the successful business plan of Amazon with strategic management and how it has become a giant in the E-commerce domain. The discussion also revolved around the initial downfalls of Amazon, which was actually a part of Jeff’s long-game-focused strategy which enabled Amazon to be a customer-trusted brand in the world and Bezos the richest man in the world. Overall, the session was very engaging and all the students were glued to the screen while watching the documentary.
