TIMSR Marks International Yoga Day with Staff Wellness Session

TIMSR proudly celebrated “International Yoga Day” on June 21, 2022 for teaching & non-teaching staff. The event started with a Daily Mindfulness Session (DMS) which is an umbrella of few Yogic exercises including neck exercises, breathing exercises and meditation techniques.

The session was conducted by Ms. Reema Shah, Assistant Professor, TIMSR. She demonstrated some yoga poses and explained the meaning of Yog. She then illustrated Bhramari yoga and Pranayama and elaborated its importance and benefits of following the same. She emphasised that regular yoga practice leads to the better mental, physical & intellectual health.

International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm & everyone assured that they would practice it regularly for overall wellbeing.’
