International Yoga Day

On June 21, 2023, TIMSR celebrated International Yoga Day starting with a Daily Mindfulness Session (DMS). The demonstration of various yoga positions, including attentive breathing exercises, neck exercises, and meditation methods, was particularly helpful in showing how yoga can improve both physical and mental health. The definition of yoga was also explained, highlighting its focus on mindfulness and relaxation. Additionally, the significance of Bhramari yoga and Pranayama was emphasized as powerful tools for stress reduction and overall wellbeing.
