Hands-on Training Session on Advanced Excel, Generative AI & ChatGPT
TIMSR’s HR Department organized a hands-on training program on ‘Advanced Excel and ChatGPT’ for the students of MMS (HR), Semester-III (Batch-2022-2024) on 3rd October 2024. MS. Deepa Naik, Founder of sparkNET, a technology consulting company and a co-founder at Cogitari was invited as an expert for the session. The session helped the students to gain valuable insights into applying AI and Generative AI in Talent Management, particularly in generating Job Descriptions and Interview Questionnaires. Additionally, students also learned the role of Natural Language Processing (NLP) in HR functions.
The session further covered the importance of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), highlighting how AI can enhance recruitment processes by streamlining candidate sourcing, screening, and selection. Students’ data analysis skills were further developed through lessons on cleansing data, creating pivot tables and heat maps, and applying linear regression for HR analytics. Overall, the lecture provided students with a thorough understanding of how technology and data-driven approaches can optimize HR processes.
