Rise of AI and Generative AI
TIMSR’s Fintech Cell organized an awareness session on “Rise of AI and Generative AI” on 27th July 2024 for the students of MMS Semester- III (Batch 2023- 25). The session was conducted by Mr. Amit Batra- Program Manager (Sustainability and Impact Relations)- Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. The session aimed at creating awareness among students on the basics of artificial intelligence, its evolution, and the subset of generative AI, including its capabilities and applications. During the session, through various discussions and examples, students grasped the importance of generative AI and the revolutionization of various industries owing to generative AI.
