TIMSR's Green Ganesh Idol Making: Promoting Eco-Friendly Celebrations
The Student Council cell of Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research organized an eco-friendly Ganesh Idol Making competition on 7th September 2021, on the eve of Ganesh Festival named ‘First Pray to You’, for the students of MMS semester II – (batch 2020-2022). The theme of the competition was to discourage the use of toxic material and promote a green celebration of the festival among the people. The competition focused on creating biodegradable idols and décor the same without the use of plastic, thermocol and other materials. The students also came up with amazing and creative ideas. Total eight students participated in the event from which three winners were announced.
