TIMSR hosted a Group Discussion session tailored for the students of MMS Semester-II (Batch 2022-24) on 19th August, 2023. The primary objective of this session was to enrich the students’ communication skills, leadership insights and cognitive capabilities. Commencing the event, esteemed alumni initiated the session by delivering a concise overview regarding the significance, necessity and dos and don’ts associated with group discussions within the context of the hiring process. Subsequently, the participating students were divided into groups of ten candidates each. Each of these groups were assigned a distinct topic, such as “Digitalization,” “Equality,” and “Ethics,” among others, to engage in a group discussion.
Post-discussion, every student had the privilege of individualized mentoring from the alumni, who provided guidance and insights based on their performance during the discussion. Overall, the session proved to be a confidence-boosting experience for the student.
