Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration
TIMSR commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July 2023 in the memory of the soldiers who participated in Operation Vijay.
In a virtual presentation, students were shown a short video documentary on Vijay Diwas, delving into its significance in our nation’s history. The discussion highlighted the sacrifices made by 527 soldiers from the Indian Armed Forces during the war. The video also showcased the Indian Army’s successful recapture of key outposts in Ladakh. During the event, the students displayed a keen interest in learning more about this historic event.
Overall, the occasion fostered a sense of unity and patriotism among the students. The message “United we stand” resonated with all, emphasizing the importance of standing together for our beloved country.
