TIMSR’s Finance department organised a guest session on Fixed Income Instruments on April 07, 2024 for MMS(FM), Semester-IV(Batch 2022-25)students. The Guest speaker for the session was Mr.Dilip Rajput, Founder-Adian Services LLP. This session aimed to increase knowledge in fixed income securities and its implication in real word scenario and how investment in fixed income instruments is effected by the rate of interest. Mr. Dilip Rajput also emphasized on various trading platforms available in India for trading in Bond Markets. He explained various securities such as bonds and certificates of deposit, offering investors a steady stream of income with fixed interest payments over a specified period. He made the students understand basic valuation, risk profiles, and market dynamics essential for prudent investment decision-making.
Overall the session was very interactive and gave a boost of knowledge in Fixed Income Markets to students. Session concluded with the vote of thanks.
