International Yoga Day

On June 21, 2024, TIMSR celebrated “International Yoga Day” with its teaching, non-teaching, and support staff. The event began with an introduction to the fundamentals of Yoga, featuring exercises such as neck stretches, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. Led by Ms. Lata Poojari, the session included demonstrations of various yoga poses and an insightful discussion on the essence of yoga. She emphasized the importance of regular practice, highlighting its benefits for mental, physical, and intellectual health. The celebration was infused with a vibrant spirit, and participants committed to incorporating yoga into their daily routines for holistic well-being.
