Industrial Visit to Jaipur
TIMSR organised an Industrial Visit to Jaipur for the students of MMS Semester-III (2023-25) from 1st-5th December 2024. The visit provided a balance of academic learning and cultural exploration. At Saras Dairy, students observed the processes of milk procurement, pasteurization, and packaging. The management team explained the role of automated technology and stringent quality standards, offering insights into supply chain management and logistics. Further, the visit to Dainik Bhaskar’s printing press showcased advanced techniques like offset and digital printing. Students learned about industry challenges such as cost optimization and sustainability while observing innovations being adopted to address them.
The cultural exploration began at the Albert Hall Museum, which displayed Rajasthan’s artistic and historical legacy through its Indo-Saracenic architecture and artifacts. A serene visit to the Birla Temple highlighted its stunning marble structure and spiritual ambiance. At City Palace, students experienced Jaipur’s royal grandeur through its courtyards and art collections. The astronomical instruments at Jantar Mantar fascinated students with their precision. The visit to Amer Fort showcased opulent carvings and breathtaking views. The journey ended with a vibrant shopping spree at Bapu Bazar, featuring Jaipur’s traditional textiles and handicrafts.
Overall, this visit enriched students academically and culturally, blending classroom learning with practical industry exposure and heritage appreciation.
