Independence Day Celebration – Intercollegiate Quiz competition
TIMSR’s Student Council organized an inter-collegiate quiz competition on 13th August 2024 to celebrate India’s 78th Independence Day, with the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047.” The event aimed to engage students in a thought-provoking session that emphasized India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047, the centenary year of its independence. The quiz encouraged participants to explore India’s socio-economic goals, current challenges, and potential strategies for future growth. It fostered teamwork and critical thinking through rounds focusing on general knowledge, current affairs, and the specific goals of the “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision. With enthusiastic participation from multiple colleges, the competition successfully instilled a sense of national pride and responsibility among the students, urging them to contribute to India’s future development.
