Discover, Engage, Transform
Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) conducted a 10-day MMS Induction Program for the Batch 2025–27, themed “Discover, Engage, Transform.” The program aimed to help students transition smoothly into the MMS environment, develop managerial competencies, and build confidence at the start of their academic journey.
The inaugural session featured eminent speakers including Dr. Rima Ghose Chowdhury (Datamatics), Mr. Sandeep Balani (Reliance Jio), and Mr. Aalhad Wadekar (Gulf Oil India), who shared future-oriented insights. Students were also introduced to NASSCOM’s future-ready learning pathways, highlighting certifications in Generative AI supported by NASSCOM, Adobe, and Microsoft.
The induction included a balanced mix of academic sessions, corporate interactions, and experiential activities. Workshops on storytelling, corporate etiquette, resume building, personal branding, and ERP orientation strengthened professional skills. Engaging activities such as Ad-o-Mania, Human Bingo, Marshmallow Challenge, Elevator Pitch, Escape Room, Vision Board Creation, and Product Design Hackathon enhanced teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
A key highlight was the Alumni Interaction and Mentoring Program. Domain-specific alumni provided insights into HR, Operations, Marketing, and Finance career pathways, helping students align academic learning with industry expectations. The introduction to TIMSR’s one-to-one Alumni Mentoring System guided students on leveraging mentorship for networking, interview preparation, and career development.
Corporate leaders such as Mr. Ketan Mehta (CredAble) and Mr. Gaurav Ghelani (TCS) delivered impactful sessions on campus-to-corporate readiness, sustainability, ethics, and global talent expectations. Faculty-led workshops on Business Ethical Dilemmas and Universal Human Values fostered reflective thinking and emotional intelligence.
Daily Reflection Journals ensured continuous growth, while final activities—including Vision Board presentations and peer appreciation—helped students articulate aspirations and build supportive peer connections.
The MMS Induction Program 2025 effectively enabled students to discover their strengths, engage with industry and academia, and transform into confident, value-driven, and career-ready management professionals, establishing a strong foundation for their journey at TIMSR.
