NISM Market Fest 2026
TIMSR’s Finance Department organized an educational visit to the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), Patalganga, for the students of MMS Semester-II (Batch 2025–27) to attend NISM Market Fest 2026 on 27th February 2026. The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of capital markets through practical exposure and expert insights. The keynote Mr. Umesh Jain, Independent Director (Certified), explained the functioning of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and highlighted the rising significance of algorithmic trading in improving efficiency, transparency, and risk management. Jatin Trivedi, Associate Professor at NISM, further discussed primary and secondary markets, regulatory frameworks, and major financial scams, emphasizing investor awareness and ethical practices. TIMSR students also participated in a Poster Presentation Competition on financial literacy, promoting responsible investing and financial planning. Overall, the event offered valuable learning and practical insights for aspiring finance professionals.
