Symposium 2026
Thakur Institute of Management Studies & Research (TIMSR) hosted Symposium 2026 on Friday, 10th April, 2026. Themed “Exploring the New Horizons in a Volatile Environment,” the event provided a robust platform for academic exchange and research insights to the students.
A diverse range of research tracks were chaired by distinguished academicians such as Dr. Smita Jape (Dean Academics, Dr. VN Bedekar Institute of Management), Dr. Priyanka Sharma (Faculty, Sasmira’s Institute of Management), and Nishant Tawade (Faculty, NMIMS University). Dr. Krunal K. Punjani (Faculty, NMIMS University), Dr. Mahesh Manohar Bhanushali (Faculty, Dr. VN Bedekar Institute of Management), and CA Muskkan Kukreja (Assistant Director Somaiya Vidyavihar University), Prof Shailesh Kumar (Professor of Practice, N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research) and Dr. Sarika Jain (Professor and HOD-HR, N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research).
Totalling over 80 research papers, these sessions facilitated deep dives into finance, marketing, operations, and human resources within the context of today’s volatile global landscape.
Following the technical tracks, the Valedictory Session was held at the Study Skill Centre. Dr. Vidya Nakhate, Director of TIMSR, officially welcomed the delegates and dignitaries. Prof. Sunil Chougule, Convenor of Symposium 2026, presented a summary report highlighting the key findings and academic contributions of the day. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Mr. Kailash Pathak (Ex-Head Supply Chain – Agri & FMCG, Reliance Retail Ltd.), who shared practical insights on navigating supply chain complexities in volatile markets.
The event concluded with the distribution of Awards and Certificates by the dignitaries to recognize outstanding research contributions.
