GEMBA Visit to Sunrise Process Equipments Pvt. Ltd
From 5th May 2026 to 7th May 2026, a detailed Gemba visit was conducted at Sunrise Process Equipments Pvt. Ltd. with the objective of understanding the existing operational processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending suitable operational excellence initiatives. The visit involved observation and analysis of multiple departments including Procurement, Stores, Drawing Department, Quality, Production, Electrical, Testing, Finishing, Packaging, and Dispatch. Discussions were conducted with employees and supervisors to understand the current “AS-IS” process flow, operational bottlenecks, communication gaps, safety practices, and opportunities for process optimization. The assessment identified several strengths within the organization such as technical expertise, commitment towards quality standards, effective production capability, and strong client coordination mechanisms. At the same time, opportunities were observed in the areas of digitalization, material management, warehouse (Store) management systems, safety enhancement, visual management, process standardization, and employee training.
