Workshop on Investment & Portfolio Management Through AI
The Finance Department of Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) organized a workshop on “Investment & Portfolio Management Through AI” for the students of MMS, Semester-III (Batch 2025–27) on 16th October 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Ashish Bobade, Head of Software Quality Assurance, CexWebuy.com.
The workshop offered valuable insights into the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in investment analysis and portfolio management. It highlighted the practical applications of AI-powered tools, including ChatGPT and Claude, in analysing financial markets, identifying investment opportunities, assessing risks, and constructing and optimizing investment portfolios.
Through practical demonstrations and interactive discussions, students explored how AI-driven techniques can facilitate informed investment decisions, effective portfolio diversification, risk management, and performance evaluation.
The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enhancing students’ understanding of emerging financial technologies and equipping them with essential analytical and decision-making skills to navigate the evolving, technology-driven financial landscape.
