BMS SEM-V Orientation for BMS Batch (2024-2028)
TIMSR’s BMS Department organized an Orientation Session for the students of BMS, Semester-V (Batch 2024–2028) on Monday, 13 July 2026, to welcome students and acquaint them with the academic and professional expectations of the new semester. The programme commenced with an inspiring address by the Honourable Director, Dr. Harish Kumar S. Purohit, who encouraged students to strive for academic excellence, uphold professionalism, and embrace continuous learning. The inaugural address was followed by a comprehensive orientation on the Semester-V syllabus, providing students with an overview of the curriculum, evaluation pattern, academic expectations, and key learning outcomes.
The programme also featured an insightful session on “Classroom to Corporate: Internship Insights” by Dr. Samir Contractor, who emphasized the importance of internships, industry expectations, and the development of essential employability skills. Subsequently, Mr. Vaibhav Kulkarni conducted an engaging session on “Professionalism at Work: Communication, Ethics & Workplace Etiquette,” highlighting the significance of professional behaviour, effective communication, ethical conduct, and workplace etiquette in today’s corporate environment. The orientation programme was well received by the students and served as an effective platform to prepare them for the semester ahead. It provided clarity on academic expectations while motivating students to cultivate the professional competencies and workplace values essential for future career success.
