HBR Case Study Analysis

TIMSR’s HR Department organised an “HBR Case Study Analysis” for the students of MMS–HR Specialisation, Semester–III, (Batch 2025–27) on 17th August 2026, as a mandatory experiential learning and assessment activity.

The activity was designed to develop students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and application of HR concepts to real-world organisational situations. Students worked in teams of two and were provided with an HBR case study on the spot. Each team was given 45 minutes to analyse the case, identify the key issues, apply relevant HR concepts and frameworks, and develop a concise, evidence-based action plan.

Following the analysis, each team presented its findings and proposed solutions through a 7-minute presentation, followed by a 5-minute Question & Answer session. The activity provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to critically analyse complex HR situations, formulate practical solutions, and effectively communicate their recommendations.
