International Women’s Day Celebration
Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research celebrated International Women’s Day in collaboration with Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Thakur Global Business School, Thakur School of Architecture and Planning, and Thakur Institute of Management Studies Career Development and Research under the umbrella of the Thakur Education Group, on 10th March 2026.
The event was organized around the theme “Give to Gain,” highlighting the idea that empowerment, support, and collective growth can be achieved through acts of contribution and encouragement within society. The celebration aimed to inspire participants to reflect on the importance of giving back, supporting one another, and fostering inclusive progress.
The Guest of Honour for the event were Dr. Lakshmmi Ajoy, Author, Life Coach and Spiritual Healer, and Dr. Sangeeta Shirname, Executive Member at INSEED NGO. They shared insightful perspectives on women’s empowerment, personal growth, and the significance of social contribution.
A special highlight of the event was the vibrant staff performances from each institute, which added enthusiasm and celebration to the occasion. The event served as a platform to acknowledge the role of women in society and to encourage a culture of appreciation, collaboration, and empowerment across the institutions.
