The Profit Predators
TIMSR’s BMS Club Committee (TBCC), under the Strategia Club, successfully organized “The Profit Predators – An Intercollegiate Event” for the students of BMS, Semester-IV (Batch 2024-2028) & Semester-II (Batch 2025-2029) on 6th April 2026. The event was designed to enhance strategic decision-making skills through an engaging startup investment simulation.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various colleges, offering them valuable exposure to teamwork and entrepreneurial decision-making in dynamic, real-world business scenarios. Participants were allocated virtual funds to invest in different companies, and their portfolio performance, reflected through profits or losses, determined their standings. The team with the highest portfolio value emerged as the winner. Cash prizes of ₹4,000, ₹3,000, and ₹2,000 were awarded to the first, second, and third positions respectively. The event concluded on a successful note, marked by high energy, active participation, and meaningful learning outcomes for all participants.
