Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research conducted a Guest Session on “Corporate Actions & Its Impact Analysis” for the students of MMS Semester II (Batch 2025–27) on 15th April 2026 at SSC, TIMSR. The session was delivered by Mr. Prakash Rathod, Sr. Specialist – L&D, NASDAQ.
The session provided students with practical insights into various corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, bonus issues, and mergers, along with their impact on stock prices and investor decision-making. It enabled students to strengthen their analytical understanding of market movements and interpret real-world financial events effectively.
The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation, enhancing students’ financial literacy and industry readiness. Additionally, the session significantly contributed to placement preparedness by equipping students with relevant domain knowledge, improving their ability to handle finance-related interview questions, and aligning their skills with industry expectations.
