National Stock Exchange (NSE)
TIMSR organised a visit to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) for the students of MMS Semester II (Batch 2023-2025), on 12th March, 2024. The session was conducted by Mr. Karan Joshi, Senior Trainer at BK Training Institute. The aim of the session was to gain insight on Trading and Investment, to understand the working of the stock market and to create awareness on the various career opportunities available in the stock market.
The session covered topics like working of the stock market, approaches for trading and investing in the capital market, trading techniques and value investing. The hierarchy of the stock market was briefly touched upon along with the job profiles of various departments in the stock market. During the visit, students actively participated in the session with great enthusiasm. The session concluded with a question-and-answer session. Overall, the visit helped the students to gain valuable experience and knowledge.
