Profile briefing for BNP Paribas
TIMSR organized a Guest Session on the topic ‘Profile briefing for BNP Paribas’ for the Finance specialization students of MMS Semester-IV (Batch 2023-25) on 8th February 2025. Mr. Shailesh Shukla, Business Analyst at BNP Paribas was the resource person for the session. The session aimed to provide students with an understanding of the Financial Synthesis HOR & Subject Matter Streams role. Key areas covered included the preparation of financial statements, financial accounting techniques, IFRS, and financial products. The importance of P&L management, cost accounting, management reporting, and budgeting/forecasting was also discussed. Essential transversal skills such as communication, analytical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure were highlighted. Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word was emphasized.
The session helped students gain a clearer understanding of the role and how to develop the necessary skills to meet employer expectations. Students showed strong engagement and interest throughout.
