Profile briefing for Nomura
TIMSR organized a Guest Session on the topic ‘Profile briefing for Nomura’ for the Finance specialization students of MMS Semester-III (Batch 2022-24) on 2nd December 2023. Mr. Parth Jani, Senior Analyst, at Nomura was the resource person for the session. The aim of the session was to familiarize students with the requirements and expectations of the company. His expertise in the field as an analyst helped the students understand the roles and responsibilities along with the job descriptions offered by the company. Topics covered varied from client due diligence, to financial analysis, trading activity and credit exposure appetite across traded products utilizing firm risk models.
Overall, the session helped the students to boost their confidence and to prepare themselves as per the requirement of the profile. The session concluded with a question and answer segment.
