Rural Immersion Program-2017-18
A two-day rural immersion programme was conducted for the second year PGDM students on 14th & 15th October 2017. Students were taken to one of India’s agrotourism centers – Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK-Farmers Science Center) Baramati, where they got the opportunity to visit ‘Nandan Dairy’, a Milk Processing Plant & the manufacturing plant of ‘Cotton King Pvt Ltd’. They learned how the KVK helps the farmers in adopting modern agricultural practices for better yield. The students also got a chance to meet the gram panchayat, and understand the processes, functions and the system of the village administration.
