TIMSR Workshop: Alternative Investments & Women in Finance (Nov 2019)
A workshop on “Alternative Investments and Women in Finance”was organized by TIMSR for PGDM and MMS studentson 6th November 2019. The panelist were Ms. Ruth Carolan, MD- Operations, Ms. Deborah McLean, MD – Ext. Relations and Mr. Shreekant Daga, Associate Director from Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA Association). The session started with the concept of “alternate investments” productsand emerging role of alternative investments in India. The panel briefed on CAIA curriculum which is designed to provide finance/ marketing students with a broad base of knowledge in alternative investments. The panel also shared their experience and discussed on how women can make it to the top in the finance sector. The session ended with Question & Answer round.
