BMS- SIP
The BMS Department of Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research commenced the BMS Program for the Batch 2025–2029 on 8th October 2025, in alignment with NEP 2020 (AICTE-approved and affiliated to the University of Mumbai). To facilitate a smooth transition into college life, an eight-day Student Induction Program (SIP) was meticulously designed and conducted.
The SIP featured a wide range of activities aimed at the holistic development of students, including program orientation, team-building activities, competitions, sessions on Universal Human Values, interactions with industry experts and alumni, faculty connect sessions, creativity and personality development workshops, parent–faculty interaction, physical and mental well-being sessions, and an educational visit to the Nehru Planetarium.
The program commenced with an inaugural session and lamp-lighting ceremony, graced by the Honourable Chief Guest Dr. Rajani Tewari, Chief People Officer, Green Mobility Cell, in the presence of Honourable Director Dr. Vidya Nakhate, Dr. Rekha Singh (Deputy Director) and Dr. Megha Sharma (HOD). Students actively participated in all sessions and activities. Overall, the SIP provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the BMS program, institutional culture, business management perspectives and future career pathways.
