Exposure to Emerging Trends in Securities Market: Participation in Samvad 2026
Samvad: A Symposium on Securities Market 2026, organized by the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), was held on 16th January 2026, at the JIO World Convention Centre, Mumbai and was also telecast live. The symposium served as an enriching platform for academicians, professionals and students to gain deep insights into emerging trends, regulatory frameworks, technological innovations and future challenges of the Indian securities market.
Total 07 staff members from the institute participated in the event. The teaching faculty included Dr. Charu Upadhyaya, Dr. Vishal Sandanshive, Mr. Gunwant Awasthi and Dr. Charusheela Shah, while the non-teaching staff comprised Ms. Rajeshri Sonwane, Mr. Ashwin Pai and Mr. Sanup Gurav. Their participation enabled meaningful academic and professional engagement with industry experts and policymakers.
Additionally, MMS students from the 2025–27 and 2024–26 batches actively participated through the live telecast. The sessions enhanced their conceptual understanding by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world market practices. Overall, the symposium was a valuable learning experience that strengthened academic–industry linkage, encouraged informed discussions and enriched the teaching–learning process for both faculty and students.
