Role of Youth in Nation-Building: Vivekananda’s Vision vs Today’s Reality
TIMSR’s BMS Department organized a Group Discussion for the students of BMS, SEM-I (Batch 2025–2029) on “Role of Youth in Nation-Building: Vivekananda’s Vision vs Today’s Reality” on 12 January 2026 to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary. Duri ng the discussion students actively discussed Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of character, discipline, self-confidence, and service, while reflecting on contemporary challenges such as distractions, materialism and over-dependence on technology. The session concluded with the insight that adopting Vivekananda’s values through education, responsible citizenship, leadership and social engagement can empower youth to build a progressive and inclusive nation.
