









International Tiger’s Day
TIMSR’s Green Club organized a Debate Competition on occasion of International Tiger’s Day on 29th July 2025. International Tiger’s Day is celebrated on 29th July 2025 every year to create an awareness regarding conservation of Tigers globally. The event aimed to raise awareness about tigers’ conservation and spark critical thinking among students on pressing environmental issues. Participants passionately debated on topics related to wildlife protection, the impact of human activity on biodiversity, and sustainable development. The competition witnessed enthusiastic involvement, with students showcasing commendable research, articulation, and oratory skills. Esteemed judges from TIMSR evaluated the debaters on content, clarity, rebuttal, and presentation. The event concluded with the announcement of winners and a message emphasizing the role of youth in conservation efforts. The competition served as a meaningful reminder of our responsibility to protect endangered species and preserve the ecological balance.

World Water’s Day
TIMSR’s Green Club organized an event on account of World Water Day for the students of BMS Sem-II (2024-2028), MMS Sem-I (2024-2026) & Sem-III (Batch 2023-2025) on 22nd March 2025. A documentary focused on Water Pollution, Climate Change, and Impact of Human Environment on Environment featuring Leonardo Di Caprio titled “Before the Flood” was screened, followed by a quiz on the topic. Through the session the students were able to understand the various aspects of Water Pollution, Climate Change, its impact on human life, the effect of human activities on the environment and more. The documentary highlighted the significance of Water Conservation, Afforestation, and strong need for environmental well-being initiatives at all levels of society.
Earth Day
TIMSR’s Green Club organized an event on account of Earth Day for the students of BMS Sem-II (2024-2028), on 22nd April 2025. An online quiz was conducted to evaluate the students’ knowledge regarding alarming environmental concerns, initiatives taken up by different countries for environmental well-being etc. Students were enthusiastic regarding the quiz and participated in the same whole-heartedly. The Quiz added to the knowledge of the students regarding environmental conditions like Climate Change, Pollution, Waste Management and the SDG’s rolled out by United Nations.
Water Conservation
TIMSR’s Green Club organized an activity on water conservation for the students of MMS (Batch 2024-2026) in collaboration with the SRC Cell, on 9th December 2024. The session aimed to educate students on the importance of water conservation and adopt sustainable practices, such as reducing wastage, fixing leaks, and using water-efficient appliances. The Green Club Coordinator emphasized the critical role of water conservation in today’s world and encouraged active participation in the session and activity. Following the presentation, an interactive water activity was also conducted to engage participants. The session covered topics such as rainwater harvesting, reducing daily water wastage, and the importance of fixing leaks promptly. The event was well-appreciated by the students, leaving a lasting impression and reinforcing the importance of water conservation.

TIMSR’s Green Club organized an awareness session on Water Conservation for the students of MMS, Sem-II (Batch 2024-2026) in collaboration with SRC Cell, on 2nd September 2024. The main objective of the event was to educate students about the importance of water conservation and highlight the ongoing global water crisis. During the session, topics like rainwater harvesting, reducing daily water wastage, and the importance of promptly addressing leaks were also included. Following the presentation, a water-related activity was conducted to engage participants.
Overall, the event proved to be a positive and impactful experience, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees and emphasizing the significance and immediate need for water conservation to save our planet.

Following the presentation, water activity was conducted to engage the participants actively. The session covered various topics, including rainwater harvesting, reducing water wastage in daily life, and the importance of fixing leaks promptly. The session served as a reminder that small changes in our behaviour and lifestyle can collectively have a significant impact on water conservation.
