Dr. Mishu Tripathi is working as Assistant Professor-Finance at Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR). She has been striving for improving educational methodology, using teaching approach based upon experiments towards making students Global practitioner of Management and increase their employability quotient. Pedagogy has been her passion and post her post-graduation, she have been fully committed since last 15 years in the field of Finance. Her areas of academic interest involve Commercial Banking, Analysis of Financial Statements, Financial Risk Management and Financial Management and ESG. She has been actively involved in carrying out research and have published many research papers in the areas of banking and corporate finance. She is also a recipient of Gold Medal for securing first position in PGDBM from IMS Ghaziabad and a University Medal for securing first position B. Com (Hons.) from Aligarh Muslim University, a central university. She believes that the teaching and research carried out at institutes of higher education should address important societal challenges and should open different avenues of exploration for the students. Her talks on ESG and environmental sustainability have been very well received across institutions beyond management colleges also.
