TIMSR’s Finance Department organized a guest session on “Decoding Union Budget 2026: Shaping India’s Future Through Policy and Finance” on 5th February, 2026 for the students of MMS Semester-II (2025–27) and Semester-IV (2024–26). The Guest Speakers for the same were CA Shailesh Prajapati, Chief Financial Officer, Parle Tableting Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and CA Gautam Lath Co-Founder and Director Seren Capital, Past Secretary, Western India Regional Council, ICAI. The session aimed to enhance understanding of the Union Budget and its role in shaping India’s economic and financial landscape.
It bridged theoretical concepts of public finance with practical fiscal policymaking, covering key aspects such as revenue and capital receipts, expenditure priorities, fiscal deficit, government borrowing, and sectoral allocations. The speakers explained the impact of budgetary decisions on industries, businesses, and individuals through relevant examples.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, making it engage and enriching for the students.
