Industry Visit at Apar Industries Ltd
TIMSR’s Operations Department organized an industrial visit to Apar Industries Ltd. in Rabale for the students of MMS Semester-I Operations (Batch 2024-26) and students of PGDM Semester-III Operations (Batch 2023-25) from TGBS on 24th January 2025. The itinerary included a tour of the manufacturing facility and interactive sessions with Apar employees. The day began with an insightful orientation, where experts from Apar Industries highlighted on their journey of over six decades of leadership in the industry.
During the visit, students were fascinated by the company’s cutting-edge facilities, sustainable practices, and focus on delivering high-quality solutions. As they walked through the plants producing transformer oil, white oil, and automotive oil, the students also observed the entire process of turning raw materials into finished goods. Further, students gained valuable insights into lubricant manufacturing, quality control, technological advancements, and industry best practices. Overall, the visit successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enriching the students’ understanding of manufacturing and packaging.
