Online Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Research
An online Workshop on ‘Artificial Intelligence for Research’ was jointly organized by Thakur Institute of Management Studies & Research (TIMSR)&Thakur Institute of Management Studies, Career Development & Research (TIMSCDR)on 1st March 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra M. Sonar, Professor of Information Systems & Technology, Mr. Shailesh J. Mehta, School of Management, IIT Mumbai acted as a resource person for the workshop and shared insights into how AI can enhance research methodologies, data analysis, and problem-solving approaches.
Participants were given the opportunity to engage with an esteemed professor from IIT Mumbai and gain valuable knowledge on AI-driven research tools and techniques. The session aimed to empower researchers, students, and professionals with advanced AI applications for academic and industry-oriented research.
Prof. (Dr.) Ashwini Renavikar explained AI tools (Scispace, Paperpal) for literature review and offered a hands-on session to participants. Participants later worked upon the assignment as a post session activity. Based on the assignment submission, e-certificates were issued to participants.
The workshop was well-organized and provided attendees with an in-depth understanding of how AI is transforming research methodologies. The virtual session enabled widespread participation, making it accessible to researchers and academicians across various domains.
