Supply Chain Management
The Operations Department of TIMSR organized a guest session on “Supply Chain Management – Industry Insights & Contemporary Practices” on 26th November 2025 for the students of MMS Semester-III (Batch 2024–26) and MMS Semester-I (Batch 2025–27) specializing in Operations. Mr. Ryan Viegas, an industry expert with global experience in pharma supply chains (Teva Pharmaceuticals, Actavis/Watson Pharma, Bayer), shared practical perspectives on logistics, cold chain management, risk mitigation, and process improvement. The session also covered contemporary trends such as digital supply chains, automation, and regulatory compliance in the pharma sector. The insights offered will help students connect theoretical operations concepts with industry realities, enhance their understanding of supply chain decision-making, and prepare them for careers in logistics, procurement, and operations management. The session concluded with a vote of thanks to the speaker.
